Coursework journey for IVM

From semi realism, to a more ‘finetuned’ and clearly stylised portrait of my mother. The balanced ceramics she holds makes it representative of her skill, as does her casual, one-handed pose supporting the weight of her pottery creations. I feel that it is, overall, more impactful as an image.

Collective notes from my group assignment detailing the depth within the job of the illustrator and ‘brand’ planning for the group project. Under ‘ideas + communications, one can see the beginning of shape and colour consideration in illustration, something I have been more considerate of since my A-level coursework; being the simple/complex dichotomy of visual aesthetics versus impacts of shape choice in illustration.
